Trenton is twelve

I can hardly believe he is twelve. Just yesterday it seems like I was bring him home from the hospital. Trenton is such a BOY. He plays hard, he gets filthy and if I'm lucky he will let me love on him.

If your lucky enough to be one of the few people he lets in - He is loyal - he is giving and he will put you before himself! Trenton loves little kids and he pays a lot of attention to other peoples kids. Trenton is hilarious- he makes me laugh all the time!  Trenton loves the Lord and I look forward to seeing what his future brings him.

My spoiled rocken kid

Some of the girls from church got our (sniff... at calling her this) PRE-TEENS together  to go to Spoiled Rocken  Kidz for the Justin Bieber event!
Fun, fun, fun!!! The girls got treated like the princess they are! Spoiled Rocken Kidz did their hair, nails, makeup and a lot of glitter. They had a little party  and then went to the Rave to watch the Justin Bieber the movie in a limo - Red carpet and the whole deal!

Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day! Love this  holiday - where you can make sure all your "people" know they are loved!  Big high fives to Nicky and Marty who threw two separate Valentines parties that my kids enjoyed so much.

KP had roses and a card sitting on the table for me when I got up with the kids this morning.
We got all three kids a little something, nothing big. I got to go to both kids parties at school. It's a little sad cause I think this will be Trent's last party. I think they don't have party's in Jr. High. :(
Here are a few pictures from our weekend:
Only if they really liked each other this much!!!

I dont even know what to call this one!

For anyone checking my blog to see if I'm dead the answer is NO... not yet anyways :) My two aunts from N.C. the "practical jokers" had taken older flowers off of Nanny's grave and thought it would be hilarious to put them on my mail box early Sunday morning. I can't tell you the number of cars that slowed down as they passed my driveway. I'm sure, showing respect as they seen the big bouquet of pink cemetery flowers!!! I told Trenton to go take them off late that afternoon before the neighbors started showing up with casserole dishes!

KP was on call all weekend and got a load of calls so we missed church. Well, that and due to the fact that my aunts were down. I had an awesome day today I went shopping with Terri  and then we went to Applebee's for lunch > she had taken a bite of soup as I was telling her something funny that had happen and she seriously lost it and sprayed soup everywhere! If there is soup being spayed thats always a sign of a fun time ;)

I'm interested in hearing any thoughts on how to get Bendy and Melissa back???
This was a picture taken at Terri's (Maggie's aunt) of Trenton, Maggie Thompson and Erica Thompson when they were all little.

Angels... and no this is not about me! :)

My two Aunts are down from North Carolina Bendy (aka Belinda) and Melissa we pronounce her name Ma-lisa. They are my dad's much younger sisters. We have a lot of fun with them both, they are huge cutups and I laugh about the entire time we are around them. Me and Brandi took turns cooking - I cooked ribs and she cooked stakes. We have spent the last two nights at Brandi's playing cards and stuffing our faces.

Melissa had an angel that she had given to my Memaw (my great grandmother) when she was a kid (her grandmother) that had passed away years ago. She ask my uncle Bud to give it to me so I could mail it to her in N.C. She bugged me to death about mailing that thing to her!! So I decided it would be much more fun to dress the Angel up, take pictures of it on special holidays and send Melissa pictures!!! lol Oh, my goodness it was so much fun. It drove her crazy! It kinda became a big family joke.. Unfortunately, I did send it back home with her this trip although I was tempted to torment her with it a little while longer.

Maw-maw seems to be doing some what better, I know it's going to take a long time for her to completely recover from this. She has her good days and her bad. Most of her time is spent in the bed or her wheelchair. She can walk a little but it really wears her out. I took her some flowers today and Paizlee, Ceanna, Trent, Bendy and Melissa went to visit. It just does her so much good to be around the kids. She has always really loved kids. Anyone's kids. But Trenton is her number one man. She and him have such a bond. She kept him for me when he was little while I worked. She had lost her son Jeff in a car accident not too many years before and her and Trent just fell in love with each other! Mawmaw had made a quilt for Trenton and CeAnna with a lot of charters from the bible on it. Trenton wants his "Maw-maw cover " to this day if he gets sleepy. So sweet.

I hope you all have had a good weekend.. and I hope I get to see you all soon!

turn around bright eyes

Maw-maw is home and I was so happy about it that I went to see her twice... in one day! Well, really once was so my grandfather could run errors and the other time was so the kids could "help" her with her therapy. She was telling me that when she had pulled up to the house she just cried and cried. She said it was just so emotional to be home after being gone three weeks. I could hardly believe it had been three weeks myself I literately had to look at my calendar but sure enough it was. I know that feeling of not being at home and how good it feels to be in your home - like when Kevin had that spider bite and was in the Huntsville Hospital for a week. It felt like a month. I can remember being at home and thinking that I would never take sleeping in my own bed or my family all being together for granted ever again.

Most of you know but CeAnna has her own little blog that is called CeAnna's Corner. She doesn't get to blog but once a week on her computer day  (and she doesn't always blog then)  but if you don't already follower her you should :) You can get to her blog by clicking on her pictures in my followers.

I have truly been missing church lately. It's been called off because of so many members family has passed away. I do love the closeness of us all and I do love the fact that when one of my family members dies that we have so much support. I can remember when Kevin's grandmother died and the funeral was so far away. Just feeling like we were alone. Then so many faces walk threw the doors, made me feel so proud and so loved. I just could not believe how - for one anybody even knew and two - that anybody would drive so far - for us! We truly needed people that day! The Lord knew that and he sent a hand full of his best.... As important as supporting each other is ... and I know it truly is I'm ready for all this sickness to be done with and us all be together again.
