"CARNATIONS??? AND I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME?"

This is an unusual occurrence. I'm sitting at my computer with a good, homemade cup  of  white chocolate, coffee beside me in a very, very, quite house. Awh, the small things - how good they can be (: Some of the preteen moms got together yesterday to reward ourselves for a Summer full of hauling little ones around. I must say, some of our moms where quite the athletes on the diving board. Nickey, Darla, Kerri, Drea, Devin and Heather where all impressive with their mad flipping abilities! You should have seen them flipping and diving!! I never knew you girls had it in you ;) We had a lot of fun, ate a lot of food and really got to be the kids for the day. I'm not sure if this is too early or not (Nickey) but I vote we do it again next year. Hopefully, all the girls who didn't get to come will be able to make it -that's the only thing that could make it any better.

So... I got woken up this morning with a birthday card from my husband. He also had a all my favorite candies in a bag. He is supper sweet and thoughtful. I've taught him well. When we first got married he had gotten me flowers for an anniversary or birthday or something. I was so mad at him - because it had carnations in it (only two in the arrangement but never the less a carnation). I had told him before that I hate carnations - I was such a brat and was so mean to him! Of course I ruined that day with my diva attitude. We now kinda have a joke about carnations. Where Kevin says to me " I'll never make that mistake again" eyeballing a flower arrangement at a funeral home that contains carnations. Of course, I feel bad about it now. Making such a big deal over nothing. I heard someone say that you grow up with your husband. It's true. Well, hopefully it's true.

I'm also excited that one of my best friends has taken off work today (for my birthday) and we are going to PFChangs for lunch! You know how much I love Japanese and I've never been before! EXCITED!!! Well, I better go start getting ready. Hope you all have a great day!

Good bye Summer! You came and went too fast!

Rock Creek Marinna

Feeding the fishes with a bottle full of crackers

CAUGHT KP with a mouth full of sunflower seeds!

Kev skiing! Can you believe it???

Can't believe its over and school is ready to start again. Kevin and I took Monday thru Wednesday off and had a few fun days with the kids!
We went to that new Ichiban in Guntersville. Its like where they cook Japanese food in front of you. Kinda like Shogun. We took the kids bowling and we had a load of fun on Smith Lake. The most amazing part was seeing Kevin skiing! I was so proud of my almost forty year old husband! ... okay, I wont tell you how sore he was the two days after. Just that he was the only one able to get up. :)

Ceanna is like "hey... hey" trying her best to aggravate Trent.

Summer 123

Hey, Hey! Another day with my favorite ninety year old - RUBY! Our insurance check has came in to replace all our electronics (that was hit by lighting) but we are waiting on tax free weekend to buy our computer. That is the thrifty side of me coming out. Meanwhile, I'll be blogging here, from work.

Is it me or is life is flying by? I was just texting back and forth with my daughter today and it struck me - how weird it is that I'm texting... with my baby. Surly, I'm not the only person who has " life is flying by at unreal speed moments" am I? She is and always has been supper independent. She has a cute little sassy side to her that I'm seeing more and more of. It's kinda funny but I picture her at sixteen with her new little attitude and its not so cute.

Trent is actually looking forward to going back to school this year. He spends most of his time texting his friends or talking to them on Xbox live. He has his own little social life now. The only time I get any of his attention is when he comes into the room to love on me. Which by now I know is code for " I want something" Sometimes I play along and let him hug and kiss on me just to get love from him. Sometimes, I just say " what do you want Trent?" He laughs because he knows I know him.

Blake is like a miniature grownup. He is almost as tall as Kevin and they wear the same size in clothes! I still see the kid side in him -sometimes.  Preteens/ young teens are funny when you look at them expecting grownup and what comes out is 100% little boy or girl. He is adorable. Loving. He (thank the good Lord) has Kevin's personality for the most part. He is really laid back. Which goes good with our high strung Trenton.

Part 2

Were back in business! I officially rejoined society again with the purchase of a new computer. Tax free weekends are the best. Proud to be blogging again from the comfort of  home.

I'm so ready to be feeling better I've had this ol' bad cold for a week and I'm ready for it to be gone. This is the kids last week of freedom. School starts the fifteenth :( I want to make this last week as fun as possible for them!

Just wanted to say a quick hi. Gotta go cause CeAnna just informed me she has a Webkins party to go to at 10:00. Lol Don't want her to be late!

Part 3
I finally broke down and went to the Dr.'s today. He said I have a sinus infection - that is causing me to feel like I have the flu. I better get better cause Kev has taking three day off to be with me and the kids. We have a trip to Smith Lake planned. Just one last hoorah before the kiddos head back to school. Plan on posting up coming pictures soon.

Hope everyone is having a good week!
