Putting together your Christmas Tree.

Put on your lights

1. One bow on the side and one at almost the top of your tree.
2. Put in all your top sticks in.
3. Put on all you ribbon - be sure to make loops hiding every so often behind twigs.

(add garland if you have it)

4. Add other stick throughout your tree.
5. Add ornaments.
and Wha Lah!

O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!

Was thinking of not even putting one up this year but we watched home videos over the holiday and it changed my mind. With the help of CeAnna, Paizlee, Kevin and Lindsey Anderson I got my Christmas tree up! :)

Glutton for Punishment

Here we go again. I started out this blog two years ago announcing that we were trying to bring a new family member into the mix. A peekapoo name Tucker. Tucker was a huge mistake and only lasted a few days. I ended up giving him away. CeAnna is the most maternal kid I know and it has always killed her the she didn't have a dog... or a little brother or sister for that matter. I guess the scars in my mind from Tucker have faded away cause this weekend we welcomed a Schnauzer named Mr Whiskers into the family. And he did come with that (cat) name :) so once again I'll do my best to give her a doggie cause Lord knows a little brother or sister is off the table.

Black Friday brought me the good fortune of being able to buy a camera. Having a good camera is something I've greatly missed. Here is to taking more pictures and posting more pictures!

I'm back!

As most everyone knows, I have suffered and I do mean SUFFERED with a terrible back injury for the past two months!

Although, I'm not out of the woods yet - I do feel so much better. I still tire easily and if I stand or sit too long I get all kinds of stoved up (and by too long I mean like 5 min or less.). Hence the lack of blogging.  I have to live on Tylenol most of my awake hours but believe it or not I'm so much better!

It's hard to describe the pain I endure during the past months. Physically- it was all most unbearable! Probably the worst pain of my life  but I'm here on the other side of all that now. It's all down hill from here. I couldn't be happier or more grateful!

I'm back to being a stay at home mom. Ruby the lady I was keeping got put in a nursing home. It was really what she needed and it was best for her family also. I do miss her and Scooter (the dog). Once my back gets a little better I'm planning on looking for something else. I didn't realize how much having a job helps. Not just financially but also mentally. :)

Hard to believe its almost Thanksgiving! Then Christmas and before we know it -it will be a new year!  It just all comes and goes too fast. I have decide to make a Thanksgiving meal here at my house this year. I've made a couple pans of dressing and I believe the last pan I made rivaled my Memaw's and she was the queen of dressing making. I've also cooked a ham and a turkey- just trying them out. The ham was so good but the turkey was a flop. I didn't realize they put bags of turkey parts in BOTH ends of the turkey. I cooked it with a bag inside one end and it made the whole thing taste weird and under-cooked.. For anyone who wants to see the sales papers for Thanksgiving and black Friday go to:

Trenton got glasses this week. His eyes were supper bad. One eye is 20/80 and the other eye is 20/200. Poor guy has been having bad headaches for awhile now. He's opted to wear contacts instead but he has a pair of glasses also. Putting them in has quickly became a nightmare! I think this has been a traumatic week for him not only did he get contacts but he got bottom braces on. He was complaining last night, he said not only was his eyeballs being scraped up but his tongue was too!

We might all be falling apart a little at the seams but a visiting preacher said it best "who would we be without trials?" Thankful for everyone that said a payer for me! Love you all!
