Jessie

My sister is almost the same age I was, when she was born. She is a Senior. She is beautiful and I'm proud of her. I love you Jessie Morgan!

"Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower."

We had a shower for Misty last week. I love fall and the decorations was done in fall colors. It was so pretty. Misty's girls seemed so happy. I drove all the little girls back to Arab after the shower was over and you should have heard them all singing in the back seat.  Paizlee, CeAnna, Callie and Chelsey we singing "Cannon Land" and "Heaven Is Really Going To Shine." Misty's girls are new, but you'd never know it! They fit right in as good as the rest! What is up with ALL the girls at Huntsville? I think we could fill two benches up with just young girls!

The kids had their Fall break this week. Theresa and I took them to the mall and to the park on, Thursday. Trenton went to his best friends for a little Fall Break party, other than that we were pretty much homebody's this week.
Kevin's back to work and his knee seems to be doing much better -thank the good, Lord.
Church is called off this weekend due to a death. We have been watching a lot of collage football today! We have also been watching One Tree Hill, on Netflix. I had never watch the series on television before but we are now addicted. I think there is about eight seasons and we are on season three. I'm look for any suggestions for our next TV series to watch???

I love being married. It's so great to find that one special person you want to annoy for the rest of your life.

Here we are 10 years from the day we got married! I can't believe we made it and if you knew us back then you'd be shocked too! I owe my entire happiness to the Lord. He truly knew what he was doing with us two! I'd have glimpses of what me and Kevin could be from time to time. Those glimpses is what I held on to for dear life - at some awfully dark times..... and I'm so glad I did. I'm so thankful Kevin did too!
A friend wrote this about her and her husband so I borrowed it and change the names and added my own twist to it:
On this day, 10 yrs ago, Kevin Shane Philpott and I decided to take on the world together. I have learned that marriage is not for sissies, it is not for the perfect, nor for those who expect perfection. It's definitely, not for the faint of heart or the weak in mind. I have learned to never allow each other to fall out of love at the same time and to never stop dating.

The Lord no doubt had big plans for us. Bigger than we ever knew. I was just telling Kevin that even before I started living for the Lord that he provide for me. Our wedding and honeymoon was given to as as a gift. I had someone give me almost every diaper that Trenton ever used (and I truly could not have afforded it if they hadn't.) The Lord knew that one day I would live for him. We were sitting at our (make that my) favorite place to eat, Mt Fuji today and I was telling Kevin all this. I was saying that we need to be thankful to the people who provided so much for us in the past but I know that it's really the Lord who caused them to do it. - I can be over loyal to people. You'd think that wouldn't be a issue but it can be. Anywho, I was telling Kevin that the Lord can cause anyone he wants to do anything he wants. Then our waitress comes up and says "You don't have a ticket the man in the third booth has bought the entire restaurants lunch!" HAVE YOU EVER HAD THAT HAPPEN TO YOU? I haven't! My case in point. :)

KP decided to use two days of vacation for our anniversary. He also gave me two dozen roses and a sweet card! Yes, he's precious!  Oh, and he planned on buying me lunch but the Lord got it.
