When I had Trenton I received a wonderful gift at my baby shower. It's called a summer time blanket. It was perfect for my hot natured child. I could wrap him up in it without him sweating to death. I used it so much that I made one for my Summer-time (July) girl, CeAnna. Now that Rowen my sisters baby (that I'm a little obsessed with) has come along I had to make him one. Here is my pinterest attempt "how to" on these wonderful Summer time blankets.
However, if you want one but don't have the time to make one you can buy one from me for 15.00.
Here is what you need:
3/4 yard of seersucker material
4 1/2 yards of rickrack
thread that matches the rickrack
Fold and sew down all four sides. Add the rickrack over the stitching and wahla. Easy peazy.
